Please join us as we vote on our Official Board Members and discuss the future direction of West Springs Free Methodist Church.
While only official members of WSFMC can vote, the attendance and input of all regulars supporters is welcome.
This is for all you ladies out there. Meet at the church at 7pm for a devotional, sharing and prayer. You don’t need to have attended the other ones. We do a separate devotional each week so no prep is required. Bring a snack if you like.

If that day doesn't work and you would like to pick another day, talk with Pastor Jason.
We are having an appreciation potluck lunch for staff and volunteers following service. Bob and Joan Harvey will be joining us. They were the maintenance & custodial staff for the church for approx. 30 years! Help us thank them and everyone else who has served the church this year. Everyone is invited to stay. Bring a dish to share and join us for some great food and fellowship.
Our next day of Prayer and Fasting will be on Wed, April 26th. We are participating in a group fast for God’s direction as we work towards the theme of Personal and Congregational renewal. Please record anything you think God may be saying to you through your time of reflection and the key texts.
Come to the church on Wed, April 26th at 7pm for an all church discussion. This is for all of those who attend WSFMC and we hope you can come share your thoughts.
The Nominating Committee has begun their work to prepare a slate of nominees for election to the Official Board at the Annual Society Meetingon Sunday, June 11th.
We are seeking input from any and all who attend WSFMC. Who do you think has the gifts and graces to lead our church family in this capacity? Has God placed it upon your own heart to consider serving on the Board?
If you would like to be considered for nomination or would like to suggest someone for consideration (don’t worry we will talk to them first!), please speak with a member of the Nominating Committee or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by April 1.
We also request your prayers for this process as God reveals His plans and shapes the leadership for His church.

Mark “Joy”, “Hope” or “Peace” on the back and they will be attached to ribbon under the appropriate word. We hope that people will approach you and ask you why that specific picture is under that word.

Last year the Care Network put together Christmas baskets for the seniors in our congregation. This year we want to do the same thing but are giving you the opportunity to contribute. If you would like to donate items, please bring to church by Sunday, Dec 4th and place on the table in Marci’s office. Some ideas are: nuts, soaps, tea, coffee,
activity books, books, chocolate, puzzles, etc. Get creative. Whatever we receive, we will make up cute gift baskets and deliver to the seniors. If you would like to be involved in delivering a basket, please contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bless you as you serve and help put a smile on a senior’s face this Christmas season.
Once again, we will be decorating the church with live poinsettias in memory of a loved one. If you would like to contribute, please bring in your own poinsettia starting Advent Sunday, November 27th and email email@example.com with whose name it’s in memory of.
Grab a shoebox from the Sunday School sign in table. Fill it with school supplies, toys, non-liquid hygiene items and a personal note and photo. Return by Sunday, Nov 20th. Underpriveledged children from overseas will be delighted when they get this shoebox as a Christmas present. For some, this is the only gift they have ever received! Be sure to add a $7 donation per box to cover shipping.
Questions? Contact Catherine Prins at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Here are a list of key texts to read through in preparation for our times together:
2 Corinthians 5:11-21
1 Peter 1:13-16

Trust that God will reveal His plans to us through this process so that we can carry them out and see lives changed for His Kingdom.
